Summary

The KSP aimed for: flexibility in architecture and mechanical planning, and realization of environmental integrity. To these ends, a so called "technical slit" was built in the center of the building. This void space was designed for natural ventilation. It is also useful for internal mechanical spaces (without spoiling view), exhaust air from laboratories, natural ventilation for underground parking lots, and for limiting damage from strong winds on ground level.
