AIR CONDITIONING TRENDS IN EUROPE COMPARED TO THE USA.

Author(s) : STEIMLE F., SCHULZ U. W.

Summary

AIR CONDITIONING TECHNIQUES ARE VERY DIFFERENT IN THE UNITED STATES AND IN EUROPE. IT IS NOT ONLY THE CLIMATIC DIFFERENCES BETWEEN AMERICA AND EUROPE, BUT ALSO THE DIFFERENCES OF COMFORT FACTORS AND THE THERMODYNAMIC FUNCTIONS EMPLOYED IN INSTALLATIONS. IN EUROPE, AIR CONDITIONING IS USED NOT ONLY FOR COOLING THE AIR, BUT ALSO TO PROVIDE HUMAN COMFORT. INSTALLATIONS IN CERTAIN BUILDINGS ARE ALSO VERY DIFFERENT AND IT IS THEREFORE NECESSARY TO MAKE PRECISE COMPARISONS.
