Air cooled absorption chiller-heater development activities.
Author(s) : NAKATSUGAWA N., TONGU S., SUGIYAMA T.
Summary
This document describes various phases in research conducted at Yazaki Corporation on absorption water chillers for use in air-conditioning plants. Research focused particularly on salts that optimally absorb water vapour, optimal additives for corrosion prevention and the best ways of preventing cystallization in the solution. An air-cooled prototype developed for domestic or commercial applications is also described.
