An application of nanotechnologies in refrigeration - Perspectives and challenges.

Number: pap. V. P. ZHELEZNY

Author(s) : ZHELEZNY V. P.

Summary

An influence of nanoparticles on the thermophysical properties of the working fluids and heat exchange in the refrigeration plants has been discussed in the paper. It was shown that nanoparticle admixtures in working fluids may lead to positive and negative effects. The experimental results of influence of the nanoparticles in working fluid on compressor’s power consumption have been presented.
