An evaluation of inside surface heat balance models for cooling load calculations.

Summary

The heat balance formulation is normally described in four parts: outside surface, wall conduction, inside surface, and air heat balance. The paper looks at the general formulation of the inside surface heat balance that includes conduction through the building elements, radiant exchange among the surfaces, and convection to the air in the zone.
