Summary
In a previous paper (see the Bulletin of the IIR, reference 2006-1906), a simulation method for equipment load and the thermal environment in spaces conditioned by air-handling units together with hydronic floor panels was presented. In this paper, the simulation model was improved in terms of calculation of space humidity and calculation for PMV control. The characteristics of several basic types of cooling operation and the effects of factors such as set point temperature of primary-air, internal heat generation and building thermal performance were analyzed through simulations.
