An experimental comparison of R502 and R404A in a condensing tube.

Summary
The paper reports the experimental results for heat transfer coefficient and pressure drop for condensation of R502 and R404A inside a horizontal smooth tube. Test results show that R404A has a slightly larger heat transfer than R502 at similar conditions. The difference is approximately 8-12%. The pressure drops are relatively equal for R502 and R404A when plotted versus the mass flux.
