Summary
Global energy consumption of absorption refrigeration plants is a problem of daily interest taking into account the increasing number of their usage. Usage of renewable or recoverable energy sources together with the diminishing of energy consumption, share an important contribution in environmental protection, by the small contribution to the global warming effect. This paper presents experimental results obtained for the total equivalent warming impact, for two types of absorption systems. Also, the authors propose a methodology for the exergy calculus. The formulae obtained were implemented in a mathematical model as part of a simulation program and the results are presented below.
