Summary
The paper presents analysis by means of a thermostatic expansion valve. The authors have estimated the effect of vapour superheating on the thermal efficiency of the air cooler. On the basis of the authors' experimental results, boiling characteristics have been developed for air coolers under operating conditions. The investigations have been carried out on R404A, an environmentally friendly refrigerant.
