Summary

THE AUTHORS HAVE STUDIED LAMINAR FLOW IN PASSAGES BETWEEN PARALLEL FINNED PLATES, THE FINS BEING OF RECTANGULAR, TRIANGULAR, OR CURVED-SIDED CROSS-SECTION. THE RESULTS INDICATE THAT RECTANGULAR SECTIONS PRODUCE THE GREATEST HEAT TRANSFER BUT ALSO THE GREATEST RESISTANCE TO FLOW. D.W.H.
