Analysis of the effect of cycle frequency on performance of a two-stage Gifford-McMahon refrigerator.

Author(s) : WANG L., ZHANG L.

Summary

To further improve cooling power and efficiency, optimizing operating parameters is one of the important methods. Cycle frequency usually is optimized to improve the cooling capacity or to reach the lower refrigeration temperature. The authors systematically investigated the effect of the cycle frequency on the cooling performance and dynamic process of a two-stage Gifford-McMahon refrigerator by an improved numerical method.
