Summary

The experimental investigation results of heat transfer during homogenous R134a and zeotropic mixtures R404A, R407C and R410A refrigerants condensation in pipe minichannels with internal diameter d = 0,31÷3,30 mm were presented by authors. The average and local values of heat transfer coefficient a in whole range of vapor quality x were determined. Based on the investigation results, the influence of vapor quality x, mass flux density G and internal diameter d values changes on heat transfer coefficient was illustrated. The significant influence of refrigerant properties on heat transfer efficiency during condensation in pipe minichannels was indicated. The investigation results with calculation results from other authors correlations were compared, the differences exceed the range of ±50%. Based on the experimental results, authors new correlation to calculate the local heat transfer coefficient was made. This equation gives accuracy with experimental results about ±25%.
