Computer aided design of high efficiency heat pump system.
Author(s) : KIM O. J., YEOM H. K.
Summary
Computer simulation to design a high efficiency heat pump system composed of a screw compressor with two economizers and a suction line heat exchanger is carried out. HFC-22, HFC-134a, HFC-32/HFC-125 (50/50) and HFC-32/HFC-125/HFC-134a (23/25/52) are used as working fluids for comparison. The influence of design parameters such as, working substances, pressure of each economizer system and the number of heat exchangers are investigated in detail.
