Analysis on IPF influencing factors for vacuum binary ice making method.

Number: pap. 083

Author(s) : ZHANG X., WU Y., LI Z., et al.

Summary

A mathematical model for whole process including flash evaporation and ice making are presented in the paper. The binary ice-vacuum experimental system is briefly introduced. The experimental and simulate computation study on IPF influencing factors for vacuum binary ice making method were carried out. Those factors include environmental temperature, environmental pressure, water temperature, drop size and drop initial velocity. The results show that the binary ice’s IPF are related to environmental pressure, drop size, initial velocity and flash chamber size, less affected by environmental temperature and water temperature.
