Summary

THE EFFECTIVE AND RELIABLE MONITORING OF ANTIFREEZE AGENTS IN WARM-WATER-FED AIR HEATERS IS AN IMPERATIVE NECESSITY FOR THE SAFE OPERATION OF AIR HEATING AND AIR-CONDITIONING SYSTEMS. IT IS POSSIBLE TO PREDICT CIRCUMSTANCES AND DISRUPTIONS THAT CAN LEAD TO FREEZING OF THE AIR HEATER, WITH RESULTING SERIOUS DAMAGE THAT IS OFTEN ASSOCIATED WITH EVEN MORE SEVERE CONSEQUENCES. THE OPERATION, DEVICES AND THE CORRECT APPLICATION OF VARIOUS ANTIFREEZE MEASURES ARE DESCRIBED.
