Application of the gas-lift principle to the improvement of deep cooling efficiency in one tank operation.

Summary

This process when applied to optimization of heat transfer in fermentation tuns, reduces problems of the maximum density of beer at 3 deg C. Pilot trials are carried out in cylindro-conical tuns, fitted with a carbon dioxide circulation system. The efficiency of the process is evaluated.
