Summary
Since political decisions have been made in favour of the phase out of CFC, then HCFC, statistical studies performed on these fluids have provided divergent data. This report by Cemagref and EDF is thus particularly useful. It is above all based on a review of the literature and also contains new information acquired thanks to field studies. The distribution, storage and food sectors in France are reviewed, with descriptions of the relative importance of R22 use, technology used in each of these sectors and current trends.
