Author(s) : WU Y. C., OREHOUNIG K., PONT U., et al.

Summary

The paper presents the initial analyses of a thermal comfort assessment study regarding transitional states. Thereby, a large group of participants moved through a number of spaces with different thermal conditions. The thermal sensation and comfort of the participants were assessed immediately after the spatial transition and after a short period of adaptation. The preliminary analysis of the results primarily pertains to the relationship between temperature change and the resulting shift in expressed thermal sensation and comfort.
