Summary

A DYNAMIC MODEL COMPRISING THREE ORDINARY DIFFERENTIAL AND EIGHT MAJOR ALGEBRAIC EQUATIONS WAS DEVELOPED FOR AN R22 WATER CHILL PLANT. MEASURED PLANT PERFORMANCE UNDER VARIABLE LOAD CONDITIONS WAS PREDICTED TO AN ACCURACY CLOSE TO THAT OF THE TEST DATA. START-UP DYNAMICS WERE PREDICTED LESS WELL, BUT THE ERROR WAS STILL SMALL.
