Australian experiences with a domestic gas engine-driven heat pump.

Summary

Testing of this product has occurred in both a controlled laboratory environment and in nation-wide field trials. The paper seeks to describe the GEHP system and the aforementioned testing. Results from both the laboratory and field-testing are presented and discussed. Methods to show consumers the benefits of particular air-conditioning products are desirable. Lastly, conclusions are drawn as to the current viability of this new gas cooling technology.
