Computer modelling of a domestic sized gas engine-driven heat pump.

Summary

The paper reviews the overall manner in which the operation of engine-driven heat pumps has been simulated. Some specific details of the model were demonstrated, especially the distinctive technique whereby enthalpy difference is considered to be the driving potential for both sensible and latent cooling. The model has been rigorously validated against extensive laboratory and field environment results. The more important of these comparative results are presented.
