Summary
The aim of this communication is to describe a prototype of domestic refrigerator by solid sorption, easy to industrialise. The principles of the chemical refrigerator is based on a reaction between the ammonia and the chlorides, implemented in an engine containing the thermochemical material. The separation of the solid sorption and the desorption reactions allows a refrigerating phase of production without any external energy. Desorption is carried out afterwards using the electric power which constitutes the advantage of the system. The communication describes the cycle of solid sorption and desorption with the experimental results, the performances and the data concerning the different parameters.
