BASIC ELEMENTS OF A PHYSICAL MODEL FOR REFRIGERATED VEHICLES. I. AIR CIRCULATION AND DISTRIBUTION.

Summary

THERE ARE SIMPLE METHODS FOR SOLVING AIR CIRCULATION AND DISTRIBUTION PROBLEMS IN TRANSPORT VEHICLES, GIVING USEFUL RESULTS WITHOUT SOPHISTICATED MEANS. THE MODELS DESCRIBED CAN EXPLAIN AND PREDICT THE TEST RESULTS OF NATURAL AND FORCED AIR CIRCULATION SYSTEMS. THE INVESTIGATIONS SHOULD BE FURTHERED UNDER CAREFULLY CONTROLLED CONDITIONS IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE LIMITS FOR THE APPLICATION OF SIMPLE MODELS AND TO IMPROVE THESE METHODS IF NECESSARY.
