Biological agriculture: observations and proposals for a development and promotion plan.
Agriculture biologique : constats et propositions pour un plan de développement et de promotion.
Author(s) : RIQUOIS A.
Type of article: Article
Summary
In spite of a healthy market, the French biological organic agricultural sector is behind its European competitors. And yet it has substantial assets, which should be developed in concertation between all the operators concerned. Land management, retaking of markets, balance of payments and adding value to agricultural output are the main stakes involved. A multi-annual development plan should be set up in short order.
