BLACK FLUID INTERMEDIATE TEMPERATURE COLLECTOR.
CAPTEUR A TEMPERATURE INTERMEDIAIRE A FLUIDE NOIR.
Author(s) : MEAS Y.
Summary
A NEW TYPE OF LOW COST COLLECTOR WHICH OPERATES AT INTERMEDIATE TEMPERATURES IS PRESENTED. WASTE AUTOMOBILE OIL IS EMPLOYED AS THE ABSORBER AND THE FLUID FLOWS THROUGH A GLASS TUBE WHICH IS INSIDE ANOTHER TUBE OF LARGER DIAMETER. THE SPACE BETWEEN THE TUBES IS EVACUATED. THE EXPERIMENTAL RESULTS SHOW THAT THIS TYPE OF COLLECTOR IS ABLE TO OPERATE AT TEMPERATURES OF ABOUT 393 K (120 DEG C) WITHOUT CONCENTRATION, AS SUCH, THE COLLECTOR CAN BE USED AS THE HEAT SOURCE FOR ABSORPTION AND DIFFUSION GAS-LIQUID SOLAR REFRIGERATING SYSTEMS.
