BREAKTHROUGH OF THE HEAT PUMP SYSTEM IN COLD AND SNOWY DISTRICTS.
Author(s) : OKUDA S.
Summary
SURVEYS ON THE OPERATING CONDITIONS AND ECONOMIC EFFICIENCY OF AN AIR-SOURCE HEAT PUMP WERE CONDUCTED IN THE WINTER OF 1987 AND THE SUMMER OF 1988 ON A MEDIUM-SIZED OFFICE BUILDING IN AOMORI, A COLD AND SNOWY NORTHERN CITY IN JAPAN. THE SURVEYS REVEALED THAT THE SYSTEM IS FEASIBLE BOTH TECHNICALLY AND ECONOMICALLY. THEPAPER DESCRIBES THE TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS, OPERATING RESULTS AND ECONOMICAL EFFICIENCY OF THE SYSTEM.
