Calorimeter experiments with Suva AC9000.

Summary

The objective of this study was to evaluate the performance of a ternary mixture of R32-R125-R134a as an R22 alternative for air conditioning and heating applications using a compressor calorimeter. The cooling capacity, energy efficiency, and compressor discharge temperature and pressure were compared for the ternary mixture versus R22. A discussion of how to define evaporating temperature, condensing temperature, subcooling, and superheat for mixtures with temperatures glides using a compressor calorimeter is included.
