States the cooling profile for the hospital made it possible to use the chillers at night to charge a 2900 ton-hour thermal energy storage system for use the next day to reduce the day's peak cooling capacity required from its electric chillers. A cogeneration system was included in the total retrofit project to produce steam for absorption machines and hot sanitary water.
