CFC recycling on the way up.

Summary
In the Netherlands about 600,000 refrigerators are disposed of every year. Many of them are collected by special recycling plants. At one of them, about one-tenth of the discarded refrigerators and freezers are disassembled in an all-covering recycling line. CFCs are removed and regenerated for reuse. A problem, however, is the current environmental legislation, which does not yet fit in with this eco-friendly initiative.
