Summary
The results of an experimental investigation of a two-compartment household refrigerator refrigeration system running on three refrigerants, two of which were zeotropic mixtures, are presented. Three different circuits were studied with these refrigerants. It was shown that the use of a zeotropic mixture with a considerable temperature glide of phase transitions as a refrigerant makes it possible to considerably reduce the energy consumption of the household refrigerator investigated.
