Summary
Fronds of Pteridium aquilinum, Osmunda asiatica and Matteuccia struthiopteris were held at 0, 20 or 30 deg C. The respiration rate, activities of ascorbate oxidase, arthodiphenol oxidase and catalase and tannin content were determined immediately after harvest and after 6, 12 and 24 hours of storage.
