Summary

Eleven cabbage cultivars of Bulgarian, Czech and Dutch origin were stored at 0-1 °C and 85-90% relative humidity and changes in the length of stem over a period of 126 days were observed. Cultivars with good storage properties, such as Erdeno F1, Quisto F1, Bislet F1, sagitta F1, Menza F1 and Ramco F1 showed no significant elongation, while those with poor storage properties did.
