Summary

In a Belgian study, carried out in 1996-97, 5 Chinese cabbage cultivars or selections were harvested on 7 November and stored at 0.5 deg C until 24 February, when their quality was assessed. Marketable head weights were highest with Storido and Morillo, which were the only cultivars considered suitable for such long storage. Brief descriptions are included of the characteristics of each.
