Computational comparison of R22 and R407C air conditioners with rotary vane compressors.

Summary
Computational comparison of performance of an air conditioner with a rotary vane compressor operating on R22 and R407C is produced. Exergy approach of air conditioner thermodynamic efficiency is applied. Calculated results are presented. The paper shows that R407C is compatible with R22 in terms of air conditioner performance. However, optimal design for R22 system is not necessarily optimal for R407C.
