Summary
The article examines some important aspects of the water-based glycol formulates used as air conditioning fluids, in trains. In addition to the characterization of the exhausts from the plant, from both the chemical and physical points of view, an examination is made of the problems connected with their re-utilization, discharge and disposal in complying with current regulations.
