Summary
Chilling symptoms were detected in Fortune mandarins after 8 days' storage at 2.5 or 5 deg C. After 14 days, 72% of fruits held at 2.5 deg C and 62% of fruits held at 5 deg C showed chilling symptoms. Chilling symptoms were not observed in Navelina oranges held at 1 or 2.5 deg C for 60 days.
