Summary

The purpose of this file is to explain the subjective notion of comfort and its relationship with air quality. The current French legislation on thermal comfort (NF ISO 7730) is presented. The file discusses how to improve work productivity by optimizing comfort. Three examples are analysed: a plastics processing workshop; a high-precision mechanics workshop; and a pressure die-casting workshop. French regulations relating to air quality are presented.
