Summary

Co-op 32 is a very early, yellow apple with excellent appearance, very good fruit quality, and outstanding storage ability and shelf life for its season. It also had field immunity to various diseases. Co-op 32 is derived from a cross made in 1974 between Camuzat and Co-op 10 (as the pollen parent). Fruits of Co-op 32 range from 60 to 80 millimeters in diameter and are oblate-round to round in shape. The skin is smooth, pale green-yellow to cream and turning bright yellow at maturity. The flesh is pale yellow. Flavour is rated as spicy, full-flavoured with mild acidity and sweetness. Excellent quality is retained for up to 6 weeks in storage at 0 deg C and acceptable quality for up to 12 weeks or longer.
