Summary

THE DYNAMICS OF NON-SHUNTED TUNNEL JUNCTIONS WITH LOW CONDUCTANCE IS CONSIDERED IN THE TIGHT BINDING LIMIT FOR LARGE EXTERNAL CURRENT. IT IS SHOWN THAT THE BLOCH OSCILLATIONS SHOULD OCCUR IN SUCH JUNCTIONS AT A LARGE EXTERNAL CURRENT. TH BLOCH OSCILLATION LINE WIDTH AND THE I-V CHARACTERISTIC OF THE JUNCTION ARE CALCULATED.
