Summary
Some of the latest techniques in the application of ammonia refrigerant are being demonstrated at a fish processing factory in Tokyo, where an ammonia-based refrigeration unit is used to provide cold storage. Using an indirect cooling system and advanced safety measures, this installation shows how ammonia refrigerant can become an acceptable option for the Japanese market.
