Summary

THE SITUATION OF COLD STORE ENGINEERING IN SOME COUNTRIES IS PRESENTED, ALONG WITH ADVANCES THAT HAVE BEEN MADE IN THE CONSTRUCTION AND INSULATION OF STORE BUILDINGS. NEW CONSTRUCTION TECHNIQUES HAVE CONSIDERABLY REDUCED THE TIME FOR ERECTING STORES AND MECHANIZED PRODUCT HANDLING HAS IMPROVED EXPLOITATION. COLD ROOMS ARE IN POPULAR USAGE ALMOST EVERYWHERE, PARTICULARLY IN AREAS WHERE AGRICULTURAL COMPLEXES ARE DEVELOPING.
