COLDECO: a new technology system for production and storage of ice.
Author(s) : CHUARD M., FORTUIN J. P.
Summary
In the past few years, COLDECO SA has developed a new system for the production and storage of ice, using the direct injection and expansion of the refrigerating fluid in water. By this direct contact, the refrigerant evaporates, while cooling the water and transforming it into a finely dispersed ice slurry.
