Summary

Energy consumption growth and fresh water deficiency become the global critical issues of today. Though it undermines human living conditions conventional measures could no longer compensate these deficits since it negatively affects the environment. The study provides a complex approach for simultaneous solar driven water conversion, water heating, airconditioning and refrigeration that sufficiently improves overall energy efficiency. An innovative method of water conversion process that combines distillation and freezing is presented in the paper along with computational fluid dynamic (CFD) simulation and design research of the ejector as a part of the binary fluid ejector refrigerating system (BERS). The paper contains input-output energy characteristics of the ejector and exergy analysis of the specific energy recovery factor for various methods of water conversion.
