Type of article: Article
Summary
The paper describes a case study on combined cold, heat and power supply to the airport, to be completed by 2009. The authors give details of the plant concept - combined heat and power with gas-diesel engines, base-load cold generation with specially adapted absorption cooling machines (ACM), return cooling of the ACM via hybrid cooling, peak load coverage (cold) by compression refrigeration, return cooling of the compression refrigeration machines by wet cooling and peak load coverage by existing hot water boilers.
