Author(s) : GIGUÈRE D., PARENT M.

Summary

The report describes a case study for a potential commercial rooftop Generator-Absorber-Heat EXchange (GAX) gas heat pump. The purpose of the study is to evaluate the economic and technical potential of the GAX heat pump compared to current technologies as well as the constraints and practical problems related to its use. The scope of the study will concentrate on the 3 to 20 tons commercial rooftop GAX unit typical in Canada.
