Summary
The article analyses the two systems in an office building in Lisbon. The study was done using the ISO Standard 7730 for the estimation of dissatisfaction percentages and life cycle software. The results of the analysis led the authors to conclude that the cold ceiling system has important advantages compared to variable air volume, in terms of comfort and environmental impact.
