FOLLOWING A THOROUGH STUDY OF CONDENSATION AND CONDENSATE SUBCOOLING WITHIN A VERTICAL TUBE, THIS RESEARCH ANALYSES THE FUNCTIONING OF 3 INDUSTRIAL EXCHANGERS WHOSE MAIN CHARACTERISTICS ARE DETAILED. THE INFLUENCE ON HEAT TRANSFER OF THE TUBE POSITION IN THE BUNDLE AND THE RELIABILITY OF DIMENSIONING METHODSWERE EXAMINED. THE ESSENTIAL PARAMETERS WHICH RULE THE POWER SUPPLIED BY THE SUBCOOLER CONDENSER ARE UNDERLINED, AS WELL AS THE RELATION WHICH LINKS THE HEIGHT OF THE FLOODED ZONE TO THE PRESSURE DIFFERENCE PREVALENT IN THE INLET VAPOUR AND OUTLET CONDENSATE.
