Summary
AIR-COOLED, EVAPORATIVE AND WATER-COOLED VERSIONS ARE AVAILABLE. THE METHOD SELECTED DEPENDS UPON AN EVALUATION OF OWNING AND OPERATING COSTS, WET AND DRY BULB TEMPERATURES, WATER AVAILABILITY AND QUALITY AND APPLICATION. DISCUSSES THE OPERATIONAL CHARACTERISTICS AND COMPARATIVE FEATURES OF THE THREE CONDENSING METHODS, WITH THEIR ADVANTAGES AND DRAWBACKS. CONCLUDES BYNOTING THAT LOWERING THE CONDENSING TEMPERATURE IMPROVES SYSTEM EFFICIENCY AND REDUCES ENERGY COSTS. LISTS METHODS BESIDE CLEANING AND WATER TREATMENT WHICH LOWER THIS TEMPERATURE. (INT.
