Summary
Technical characteristics (heat transfer, load loss) of these two types of heat exchanger used for concentration of sugar juice are investigated during the 1990 season. Superior performance of the plate exchanger and of the minimum temperature differences between vapour temperature and produced juice temperature are reported.
