Summary
The structure of a laminated evaporator used in automobile air-conditioning system was improved. Then the heat transfer and flow characteristics of the laminated evaporator applied in refrigerated cars were compared with those of the fin and tube evaporator using the numerical simulation method. The results show that the laminated evaporator was more compact and had better heat transfer performance than the fin and tube evaporator under refrigeration conditions.
